ANNUAL STANDARDIZED TESTING
NFC Academy uses the Stanford Achievement Test Series, Tenth Edition for all grades Kindergarten thru 11th grade. Students in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade will take the traditional hard copy book form test. All students in grade three through eleventh grade will take the online Stanford Test.
Some of the pages for our Testing Center are password protected and available to parents of enrolled students when we begin our annual testing. Testing is typically in the month of April each year. While standardized testing is not required, we recommend all families consider their children taking the annual testing. |
K- 2nd GRADEWe use the book copy of this test for our students in Kindergarten, First and Second grade. The Stanford testing series has been a standard of excellence in achievement testing for over 80 years and provides scores for students that are nationally norm-referenced. The Stanford Achievement Test Series offers a state-of-the-art Tenth Edition to measure student progress toward high academic standards. This technically excellent instrument provides the valid and reliable tool needed for objective measurement of achievement.

ONLINE GRADES 3-11 All NFC Academy students third grade through eleventh grade are eligible to take the Stanford Achievement Test Series -Tenth Edition Online Edition. This test offers a cutting-edge, innovative online version to evaluate student development toward high academic standards. Stanford 10 Online is a multiple-choice assessment just like the traditional test that helps educators determine student achievement in real time for students in third grade to eleventh grade.

SCORING DETAILSThe Stanford Achievement Tests meets the requirements of most states which have standardized test reporting requirements for homeschools. Your scoring will show the national results in the designated areas for each grade level with Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science in Elementary through High School levels with grade appropriate information. Scores include the raw scores, scaled scores, grade level (when available), percentile scores and stanines.
